A little over 4 years ago when my co-founder Forrest and I launched Jobber we had ambitions to help change the way that small home and mobile service businesses run their companies. To be honest, I don’t think either of us quite realized the massive impact our little startup would have in the years to come.

As we’ve grown from one user to two users, to tens of thousands of users all over the world, we’ve heard amazing stories from small business owners about how they’ve faced adversity, overcome challenges, and have grown their companies. I feel fortunate and grateful for Jobber to be a part of so many of these stories because I know how hard it can be.

These stories and the people behind them are why we’ve worked so hard to build Jobber, and to build a meaningful company with a mission to make a real, feet-on-the-street difference for small businesses. Today I am very proud to announce that Jobber has raised CAD $8 million in additional funding to keep building an even better company, that can have an even more significant impact for our users.

Jobber’s customers are currently servicing over three and a half million homeowners and businesses all over the world, from Vancouver to Toronto, San Francisco to New York, and Johannesburg to Melbourne. It’s amazing to think that our little startup from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada is now being used in over 35 countries to help build better businesses. We’re just getting started though. Our mission is to help our customers be successful, and this new funding will enable us to keep doing just that, in a bigger, faster, and even more exciting way.

It’s only been 4 years since we started this crazy journey. I couldn’t be more proud of the team we’ve built, the product we’re building, and the amazing customers who support us. I can’t wait to see what the next 4 years bring. Thank you everyone, for your support and encouragement; we look forward to helping you build successful businesses long into the future!

Humbly yours,
Sam Pillar
CEO & Founder
