Expert Tips on Starting a Lawn Care Business
It can be intimidating to start any business and the lawn care business is no different.
Jobber Academy teamed up with Jason Creel of the Lawn Care Life YouTube channel to go through some of his expert advice on starting a lawn care business and how you can find success in your first year of business.
Jason covers a few things you should keep in mind when starting a lawn care business:
- Nobody knows about your business at first. It takes work to get your name out there so don’t be afraid to let your network know that you are open for business!
- If you communicate that you are a discount provider, you’ll have a hard time selling yourself as a quality provider. Set yourself up for quality from the very beginning.
- In your first year, you’ll need to spend a lot of time actively marketing your new lawn care company. Once your company becomes more established, then you can start to expect word of mouth referrals.
- Be smart about purchasing equipment. Don’t create a financial burden on your company by purchasing the most expensive equipment available.
